Making a difference for Veterans.
Warriors Run KC
At my internship for Project 607, I designed the logo for the Warriors Run KC. My first day there, I was given the task of trying to come up with a logo for the Warriors Run. Everyone had taken a shot at it and they were'n’t liking anything, so with new eyes, I got to work! I had just recently taken an Art History class in college so I drew inspiration from there! Specifically, I drew inspiration from the Pacific Northwest Native American tribes. What the others had come up with previously, reminded me of the Totem Poles from these tribes.
This was a run that was being put on to honor and donate to veterans as well as challenge everyone to a 5K obstacle run. Along with the logo, I worked on some website, social media content, as well as assisted day of the event.
